The Green Room is commonly used for touring bands and event production, but is also available on select days/nights for private events and parties. Contact us if you are interested in renting out the Green Room for a light ramble.

    Long Island, New York-based indie pop quintet Twin Sister make music that is dreamy, yet danceable. The five members of the group -- vocalist Andrea Estella, bassist Gabe D'Amico, drummer Bryan Ujueta, keyboardist Dev “Udbhav” Gupta, and guitarist (sometimes vocalist) Eric Cardona -- crossed paths while playing in their respective bands, ultimately befriending each other and forming Twin Sister in 2008. Their first EP, Vampires with Dreaming Kids, was self-released that year. After their first live show out of town, at SXSW, they toured with tUnE-YarDs and Xiu Xiu before putting the final touches on their second EP, Color Your Life, which followed in 2010. Brendo is known in music circles as the co-founder of Downtown, produced in London by Flood and Alan Moulder (My Bloody Valentine, The Killers, U2, Smashing Pumpkins). More recently, he received rave reviews for his 2010 7" release, Over The Dunes and Into The Cave. The Asteroid Shop's self-titled debut was recorded in Austin, TX @ Cacophony Recorders with acclaimed Producer/Engineer Erik Wofford (The Black Angels, Grupo Fantasma, Explosions in the Sky). Brendo, as principle songwriter, is joined by an explosively talented lineup of Austin-based musicians in Michael Kester (keys), Todd Pruner (guitar), Jonathan Konya (drums) and Tray Duncan (bass). Brendo takes The Asteroid Shop into a world full of elegance & pain, of ease and tension all at once. This is especially evident on spotlight tracks like "Dandelion," "Destroyer" and "Ashes." The band skims through the same vast sea as contemporaries Richard Ashcroft, Spiritualized & My Bloody Valentine and channeling, at once, the likes of Mazzy Star, early Pink Floyd and The Secret Machines. The Asteroid Shop is a rare treat for folks who still look for craft in their songs. Look for the self-titled album fall 2011. The band will be touring in support of the release.
