Groceries are groceries. Love is Love.

Girls Gotta Eat Art Opening @ Mohawk

All Ages

Sarah Bork presents, GIRLS GOTTA EAT, the first chapter in an ongoing series of interviews and photographs of drag queens and their grocery shopping and eating habits. A life long foodie and admitted lover of grocery shopping, Sarah was inspired to focus on drag queens after seeing two ‘ladies’ standing at a deli counter discussing their choice of cold cuts for the week.

While seemingly joyful and lighthearted, these colorful cinematic portraits invite viewers to celebrate the commonality of our human experience as well as consider more complex themes of diversity and inclusion, how we react to traditional gender roles and nurture and comfort ourselves amid life’s challenges.
